Israel Confirms Casualties in Gaza Conflict and Imposes Restrictions on Humanitarian Aid

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have officially confirmed that, as a result of the hostilities initiated by Hamas on October 7th, a total of 307 IDF soldiers have lost their lives. The ongoing conflict in Gaza has had severe implications on the humanitarian situation in the region.

According to the IDF, the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza will be restricted, with no fuel allowed to enter. However, humanitarian aid shipments will still be permitted to reach certain southern areas of Gaza.

The IDF has emphasized that there are 210 documented cases of construction workers in Gaza. These workers have been approved to enter Gaza and contribute to the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts.

The Gaza conflict, which continues into its 15th day with Israeli airstrikes, has taken a toll on the Palestinian side, resulting in the death of 4,385 Palestinians. Among the deceased, 1,756 are children, and 976 are women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, there are 13,651 Palestinians who have been injured as a result of the Israeli airstrikes. Tragically, 21 journalists have lost their lives in Gaza since the commencement of the conflict, as reported by Arab media outlets. The situation remains a matter of grave concern, drawing international attention and calls for an immediate ceasefire.
