Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Allocates 2 Billion Rupees to Reinstate Health Card Program

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated 2 billion rupees to revive the Health Card Program, a move aimed at providing free medical treatment to its residents. This development comes after the Health Card Program had been suspended due to a shortage of funds.

Dr. Riaz Anwar, the Health Advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, explained that the suspension of the Health Card service was due to a lack of funds. He further elaborated that the government had now released 2 billion rupees to reinstate the program, ensuring that free medical treatment services can resume.

Dr. Riaz Anwar also emphasized that certain developmental projects in medical facilities have faced restrictions, and instead of focusing on constructing new buildings, the hospital administrations should prioritize healthcare services.

The revival of the Health Card Program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a positive step towards ensuring access to medical treatment for the people of the province. It provides them with financial relief and access to quality healthcare services, which is crucial for their well-being.
