Maryam Nawaz, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), expressed her deep emotions upon the return of her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, to Pakistan after four years in self-imposed exile. She took to the social media platform Twitter to share her thoughts on this momentous occasion.
In her heartfelt statement, Maryam Nawaz described this day as the most significant in her father’s life, saying, “I am grateful to Allah, the Lord of Dignity, as today is perhaps the most important day in his life, given the suffering and challenges Nawaz Sharif has endured in the past 24 years.”
She further added, “Some of his wounds may never heal, but the heights Nawaz Sharif has scaled in his journey may not be found in anyone else’s destiny.”
Maryam Nawaz’s message continued with optimism, saying, “Pakistan is about to witness another rise of Nawaz Sharif today, InshaAllah! Welcome Nawaz Sharif, with all eyes gleaming and welcoming you!”
It is evident that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has returned to Pakistan four years after his self-imposed exile. His plane landed at Islamabad Airport not long ago, marking a significant development in Pakistan’s political landscape. The emotional response from Maryam Nawaz reflects the anticipation and hope among the supporters of the PML-N for her father’s return and political resurgence.
