Hilary Duff left fans in awe after delivering her first-ever live performance of a Lizzie McGuire song.
On January 19, the Younger star took to the stage in London and sang What Dreams Are Made Of during her first concert since 2015. A video of the moment, featuring the song from her 2003 movie The Lizzie McGuire Movie, quickly went viral, sending fans into a frenzy.
After Rolling shared the clip on Instagram, one fan commented, “This is what dreams are made of.” Another wrote, “Sing to me, Paolo,” while a third added, “I would have been sobbing so hard.” Other users chimed in with, “The world is healing,” and “This song could bring peace on earth.”
Back in November 2025, Duff explained on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast why she had never performed the song live before. “I don’t even remember recording that song,” she said, adding, “It was a weird time, and it wasn’t technically my song. It was a Lizzie McGuire song.”
The A Cinderella Story actress also recalled how separate her music career felt from her role on Lizzie McGuire at the time. “There was such a separation back then of me and my music and Lizzie McGuire,” she said.
Duff further revealed that she never performed the track live because she didn’t own it. While she has said she would never tour again, she recently hinted that she might be allowed to sing the song somewhere, making this surprise performance even more special for longtime fans.
