Maulana Fazlur Rehman Speaks on Various Political Issues Stresses Muslim Unity and Palestine Solidarity

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), recently addressed several crucial political matters during his discussions with the press in Multan and Karachi. He stated that the threat to the vote, which was a concern previously, had diminished, and leaders like Nawaz Sharif remained steadfast in their political pursuits, urging respect for their democratic rights.

Regarding the recent census conducted by Pakistan, he highlighted the importance of the ruling party’s role in decision-making. He criticized the former chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), referring to him as a puppet selling out the nation’s interests, who had now been apprehended.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman underscored the responsibility of the Muslim community to support Palestine. He emphasized that Muslims should stand united as a force against injustice, expressing solidarity with Palestine in their struggle. He applauded Palestine’s courageous defense of their land and called for immediate action, urging the Islamic world to support their cause. He suggested that international bodies like the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) should swiftly respond to the situation, asserting that Muslim nations must unite to address the challenges faced by Palestine.

Discussing the issue of Afghan migrants, he advocated for a humane approach, urging against their forceful removal through coercion or violence. He emphasized the need to prevent terrorists coming from Afghanistan and stated that a compassionate and respectful approach should be maintained towards Afghan guests. He emphasized the importance of upholding cultural norms while dealing with the Afghan community, underlining the significance of hospitality and understanding in accordance with traditional customs.
