White House spokesperson Jake Sullivan expressed deep concern, emphasizing solidarity with the Israeli government and people. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia emphasized the need to prevent further escalation, urging both parties to exercise restraint.
As tensions rise, Israel has imposed an alert, and the Israeli Prime Minister, under the supervision of the military headquarters, has initiated emergency meetings. The conflict highlights the persistent animosity between the two nations, with Gaza remaining under Israeli blockade since 2007.
