Punjab CM Invites DAMAC Group to Invest in Digital and Real Estate Projects.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has invited the globally known DAMAC Group to explore investment opportunities in Punjab. The invitation was extended during a meeting with a DAMAC delegation led by CEO Amira Hussain Sajwani and Managing Director Ali Hussain Sajwani.

During the meeting, both sides discussed investment opportunities in digital assets, IT, and real estate sectors. They also agreed to speed up the process of tokenisation of government and commercial assets. A proposal for pilot tokenisation in Nawaz Sharif IT City was reviewed, and the DAMAC Group showed strong interest in investing in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Punjab is being developed as Pakistan’s main hub for foreign investment in digital assets and modern technologies. She highlighted that Punjab contributes 65 percent of Pakistan’s IT exports and produces over 25,000 IT graduates every year.

She added that cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala are growing as major technology centers. The chief minister said this is the right time to invest in Punjab, especially in projects that create opportunities for young people.

CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin also briefed the delegation about key projects, including CBD Quaid District, Serene Tower, a five-star hotel, and a large retail mall. He noted that CBD Punjab and Nawaz Sharif IT City are playing an important role in Punjab’s economic growth.
