Continuing efforts to improve public service delivery, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a vehicle verification facility for the buying and selling of registered vehicles in Sindh, ARY News reported.
Launched in collaboration with the Sindh government, the new service allows citizens to verify cars and other vehicles through NADRA’s Pak ID mobile application. Using the app, users can check vehicle details from home before completing the remaining registration formalities at the relevant provincial departments.
For additional information, citizens can visit NADRA’s official website or contact its helpline at 1777.
Earlier, NADRA also introduced a pilot project to expand access to its services through selected e-Sahulat franchises. Under this initiative, facilities for reprinting lost Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and renewing expired CNICs are being offered at designated franchises.
The pilot phase has been launched at 18 e-Sahulat franchises in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. According to NADRA officials, the initiative aims to reduce the workload at NADRA registration centres and make essential identity services more accessible at the community level.
In Karachi, the pilot project is available at multiple e-Sahulat franchises located in areas including Malir, Korangi, Gulistan-e-Johar, Water Pump, Sarjani Town, Orangi Town, Maripur, and surrounding localities.
