Malia Obama, the daughter of former US President Barack Obama, was recently photographed smoking a cigarette outside a convenience store in Los Angeles. The 25-year-old was captured puffing on the cigarette while engaged in conversation with a friend next to a black car.
In her relaxed appearance, Malia wore a blue cardigan, brown trousers, and black shoes, opting for a makeup-free look and leaving her long hair flowing.
This isn’t the first instance of Malia Obama being seen smoking. Back in 2016, she was caught smoking a joint at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Interestingly, she was later photographed wearing a “Smoking Kills” tee at another music festival in Philadelphia just weeks later.
The penchant for smoking seems to have a familial connection, as Malia’s younger sister, Sasha Obama, was recently spotted smoking a cigarette as she left a Labor Day party in Los Angeles in September.
The Obama family has a history of smoking, with former President Barack Obama admitting to his past addiction. He revealed that he used to smoke up to 10 cigarettes a day but made a commitment to quit before the 2008 election, fulfilling a promise to his wife, Michelle Obama.
