Raihan Vadra, son of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and businessman Robert Vadra, has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Aviva Baig.
According to reports, the 25-year-old proposed on Tuesday in the presence of both families, and Aviva said yes. The couple’s wedding is reportedly planned for the coming months.
Born on August 29, 2000, Raihan has largely stayed away from the political spotlight, choosing to focus on his own interests. He attended The Doon School in Dehradun and pursued higher education in politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. Known for his passion for art and photography, Raihan maintains a low public profile despite his prominent family background.
Aviva Baig, a Delhi-based photographer and producer, studied Media Communication and Journalism at OP Jindal Global University after completing her schooling at Modern School. She has showcased her work at notable exhibitions, including You Cannot Miss This at the India Art Fair 2023 and The Illusory World in 2019. Aviva is also a co-founder of the creative production unit Atelier 11 and a former national-level football player.
Her parents, Imran Baig and Nandita Baig, are a businessman and interior designer, respectively. Reports mention that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Nandita Baig are longtime friends, with Nandita having worked on the interior design of the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhawan.
