Internet sleuths and orange leash lead to capture of animal abuser in Australia.

In a shocking case of animal abuse, Adam Britton, originally from the United Kingdom and known as a crocodile expert, has pleaded guilty to a series of gruesome crimes against animals in Australia. The breakthrough in this case came through the efforts of internet sleuths and the identification of a distinctive orange leash seen in one of Britton’s horrifying dog torture videos.

Britton’s crimes included animal abuse, bestiality, and possession of child exploitation material, and they have sent shockwaves through the community. His sinister modus operandi involved sourcing approximately 42 dogs through Gumtree Australia, often from individuals who reluctantly gave up their pets due to work-related commitments. These innocent animals then fell victim to his sadistic desires, as he sexually exploited them in a “torture room” equipped with recording equipment.

To make matters worse, Britton shared these disturbing videos with like-minded individuals through his Telegram accounts, named ‘monster’ and ‘Cerberus’ after a mythical three-headed dog.

The pivotal moment in Britton’s capture occurred when he posted a video titled ‘1B***h9Pups’ on an abuse website in March 2022. An astute internet user noticed that an adult female dog in the video was wearing an unmistakable orange City of Darwin-branded leash, which bore the slogan ‘Great pets start with you.’ This crucial observation led to the exposure of Britton’s horrific crimes.

Following this discovery, the Northern Territory (NT) Animal Welfare Branch was alerted, setting off a chain of events that would ultimately lead to Britton’s downfall.

In April 2022, NT Police and Australian Federal Police conducted a raid at Britton’s residence in Mcminns Lagoon, south of Darwin. During the search, investigators uncovered a harrowing array of evidence, including computers.
