Pakistan security forces kill 15 Fitna-al-Khawarij militants in fresh KP operations.

Pakistan’s security forces have killed 15 Fitna-al-Khawarij militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ARY News reported, citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The first operation took place in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, where security forces acted on confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij militants. Troops engaged the hideout and killed 10 militants, including their ring leader Alam Mehsud, ISPR stated.

In a second intelligence-driven operation conducted in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, the security forces neutralized five more Khawarij militants.

Following the operations, sanitization efforts are underway to clear the region of any remaining foreign-sponsored militants. ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s relentless counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative — approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan — will continue with full force to eliminate all forms of external support to terrorism.

This comes after a previous operation on October 24, when Pakistani forces killed eight Fitna-al-Khawarij militants in Wanda Sheikh Allah, Lakki Marwat. That operation, executed with high precision, also left five militants critically injured, according to security officials.

Pakistan’s security forces remain actively engaged in counterterrorism efforts across KP to prevent cross-border influence and dismantle hostile militant networks.
