Paris Saint-Germain and England emerged as the biggest winners in this year’s FIFPRO World 11 awards, with both having five players named in the Men’s and Women’s World 11 teams respectively.
More than 26,000 professional footballers voted in the global players’ association awards. Barcelona’s 18-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal made history as the youngest player ever included in the men’s team, while England’s Lucy Bronze celebrated a record eighth appearance in the women’s lineup.
For the men, Gianluigi Donnarumma—who joined Manchester City after helping PSG win the Champions League—was selected alongside teammates Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele.
England’s women, meanwhile, dominated after defending their Euro 2025 title by defeating Spain on penalties. Hannah Hampton, Bronze, Leah Williamson, Chloe Kelly, and Alessia Russo all made the cut. Kelly, Russo, and Williamson also celebrated Champions League success with Arsenal, while retired international Millie Bright earned another selection.
Africa made history too, with Barbra Banda (Zambia) earning her second appearance and Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco) debuting as the first two African women ever named in the team.
