Viral ‘Aerofoot’ video claiming to show GITEX 2029 demo exposed as AI-generated deepfake.

A viral video titled “Aerofoot” has sparked widespread buzz on social media, allegedly showing a girl hovering above a stage during what was claimed to be an exhibition at GITEX 2029. However, investigations reveal that the footage is AI-generated, not a glimpse into the future.

The clip, along with several similar videos, was shared by a user describing himself as an “Artificial Intelligence Enthusiast” and “AI Time Traveller.” He claimed the videos depicted real events from 2029, despite having posted them in 2025.

The first frame of the viral video included the caption:

“Aerofoot Demo ⛸️ GITEX 2029”

One such post appeared on October 23, 2025, shared by Jyo John Mulloor on Threads. Mulloor’s account also featured multiple other futuristic-looking videos that contained glitches and inconsistencies typical of AI-generated imagery — including distorted text and unnatural movements.

According to Hive, an AI detection tool, the video was 99.9% likely to be AI-generated or deepfake content, confirming that the viral footage was fabricated using advanced AI tools rather than genuine footage from a future tech expo.

Mulloor’s Instagram profile similarly showcased several archived clips displaying these same visual flaws, reinforcing that the so-called Aerofoot demo was a creative AI concept — not a real technological breakthrough from GITEX 2029.
