The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) made a remarkable impact at GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology and startup exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. With a powerful delegation and an expanded presence, P@SHA highlighted Pakistan’s rapidly growing digital economy, strengthened international collaborations, and positioned the country as a key player in the global technology landscape.
P@SHA’s Powerful Representation at GITEX Global 2025
At GITEX Global 2025, the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) led a large delegation that represented over 100 technology companies and several emerging startups. The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, alongside P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Umair Nizam, and other prominent members of the IT community. This year’s representation marked a milestone as Pakistan’s IT exports reached an impressive $3.8 billion in FY25, reflecting the sector’s robust growth and international appeal.
The delegation engaged in high-level networking sessions, explored collaboration opportunities, and participated in B2B meetings with global investors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. They also attended the GITEX Power Summit, exploring strategic partnerships to integrate Pakistani technology solutions into international markets.
MoUs and Collaborations Strengthening Pakistan’s IT Sector
A highlight of P@SHA’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 was the signing of several significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). These agreements marked a major step toward cross-border collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship. One of the key MoUs was signed between P@SHA and HUB47, aimed at empowering Pakistan’s startup community by improving market access, entrepreneurial development, and global exposure.
This MoU was signed by Usman Akbar on behalf of P@SHA and Muhammad Shahbaz Khan, Director of HUB47, in the presence of senior officials including Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Muhammad Umair Nizam, and Sheikh Abdul Qadir. The collaboration aims to link Pakistani entrepreneurs with global ecosystems, providing them with platforms to innovate and scale internationally.
In addition, P@SHA member company CODORA signed two MoUs during the event, led by Vice President of Engineering Muhammad Atif Siddiqui. These agreements emphasized international technology partnerships and demonstrated Pakistan’s potential to deliver advanced digital solutions to global markets.
P@SHA Expands Global Footprint Through Strategic Alliances
To further enhance Pakistan’s global presence, Muhammad Umair Nizam formalized three international collaborations during GITEX Global Dubai 2025. The first collaboration focuses on FLEX Global 2026 by GITEX, which aims to explore the future of work and learning at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The second collaboration involves GITEX Türkiye 2026, where Pakistani companies will participate in Istanbul’s premier technology and startup exhibition. The third initiative involves GITEX LATAM 2027, which will bring Pakistan’s IT industry to São Paulo, Brazil, opening new opportunities for partnerships and IT exports in Latin America.
These strategic alliances are a reflection of P@SHA’s vision to connect Pakistan’s tech industry with international markets and to encourage innovation and knowledge exchange across continents.
Sybrid and Super Technologies Join Hands for Digital Transformation
Another important development at GITEX Global 2025 was the signing of an MoU between Sybrid, a member company of P@SHA, and Super Technologies, aimed at driving advancements in digital transformation. The agreement, witnessed by Sajjad Mustafa Syed and Sheikh Abdul Qadir, focuses on the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Chairman of P@SHA, stated, “Our presence at GITEX Global 2025 demonstrates Pakistan’s growing capability to deliver world-class technology solutions. The collaborations and MoUs signed here will help strengthen our industry and create new pathways for innovation, investment, and growth.”
