COAS field Marshal Asim Munir warns India: “no space for war in a nuclearised environment”.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Saturday firmly cautioned India’s military leadership that there is no room for war in a nuclearised region, emphasizing the importance of resolving disputes through peaceful means.

He made these remarks while addressing the Passing Out Parade of the 152nd PMA Long Course at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul. The ceremony also marked the graduation of cadets from friendly nations including Maldives, Palestine, Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, Nigeria, Nepal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen.

Field Marshal Asim Munir attended the event as the chief guest and reviewing officer, where he inspected the parade and presented awards to outstanding cadets.

In his address, the Army Chief urged India to address core issues with Pakistan in accordance with international norms, based on equality and mutual respect.

“We will never be intimidated nor coerced by rhetoric,” he stated firmly. “Pakistan will respond decisively and disproportionately to even a minor provocation without hesitation.”
