Nick Jonas took a break from his hectic touring schedule to surprise his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, a traditional Hindu festival celebrated by married women for the well-being and long life of their husbands.
On Friday, October 10, Priyanka shared heartwarming moments from the celebration on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the couple’s family time.
The Citadel star began her post with a sweet selfie featuring Nick, with the moon visible through their window — symbolizing the end of her fast. Another photo captured the couple sitting with their daughter Malti Marie, who was seen scribbling nearby while Priyanka lovingly touched Nick’s face.
“Surprise!! Daddy’s back! In the middle of intense touring, when he comes back home to make sure he spends Karwa Chauth with me every year… when my mother-in-law sends me my Sargi the day before, and my mother brings back delicious food made by Vikas Khanna from @bungalowny to break my fast… this is what my dreams were made of,” Priyanka wrote in the caption.
She added a heartfelt note for her husband: “Thank you for being my true chaand. Love you forever and always, @nickjonas.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Rajasthan in 2018 and welcomed their daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy in January 2022.
Nick Jonas is currently performing on tour with his brothers Kevin and Joe as part of “Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown.”
