Bollywood actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan have announced the name of their newborn daughter — Sipaara Khan.
The couple, who welcomed their first child together on Sunday, October 5, shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday evening.
“Welcome, baby girl, Sipaara Khan. Love, Shura and Arbaaz,” read the message on their announcement card, captioned “Alhamdulillah ❤️”.
While the couple did not explain the meaning behind the name, social media users pointed out that “Sipaara” is of Arabic origin, meaning “the protector,” “one who exists beyond the light,” or “a beautiful woman.”
Arbaaz, 58, and Sshura, 43, tied the knot in December 2023. This is their first child together.
Arbaaz also has a 23-year-old son, Arhaan Khan, from his previous marriage to actor Malaika Arora. The former couple, who married in 1998, separated in 2016 and later divorced.
