JI chief Hafiz Naeem rejects Trump’s Gaza plan, announces nationwide protests against Israeli aggression.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has strongly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza peace plan, declaring it biased in favor of Israel and devoid of any real pathway to peace.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, he said the plan prioritizes Israel’s security while disregarding the creation of a Palestinian state. He condemned the clause demanding Hamas’ disarmament, calling it unlawful and stressing that Hamas is a legitimate resistance force defending its land from occupation, in line with the United Nations Charter.

“This is not a peace plan—it is a license to kill more Palestinians,” Hafiz Naeem said, further accusing former British Prime Minister Tony Blair of complicity in war crimes in Iraq amid reports of his possible involvement in Gaza’s post-war governance.

The JI chief also criticized Pakistan’s government for showing early signs of accepting Trump’s plan, warning that doing so would weaken the country’s position on Kashmir. He reaffirmed his party’s rejection of both the Abraham Accords and Israel’s legitimacy.

Condemning Israel’s recent attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla, Hafiz Naeem announced a series of nationwide protests starting tomorrow, culminating in a major march on October 4th.

“The Israeli aggression threatens global peace, and the United States has effectively given Israel a license for genocide,” he concluded.
