FIFA to launch 2026 world cup ticket sales amid concerns over dynamic pricing.

FIFA has announced that ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will begin this month, with prices starting at $60 for group-stage matches and reaching up to $6,710 for the final. The tournament, set to be the largest in history with 48 teams, will run from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The sales process will be conducted in multiple phases. Fans with Visa cards can register for a FIFA ID to enter a presale draw from September 10–19. Selected applicants will be eligible to buy tickets beginning October 1. Ticket limits are capped at four per person per match and 40 per person across the tournament.

Additional phases will open later in the year, with Phase Two registration from October 27–31 and sales running from mid-November to early December. Phase Three will launch after the official draw in Washington on December 5, with fans able to apply for specific matches. Closer to kickoff, remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

FIFA also plans to offer special packages, including supporter tickets—allowing fans to sit together—and conditional tickets that secure seats for potential knockout-stage games.
