Balochistan announces public holiday on September 6 for Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Defence Day.

The Balochistan government has declared Saturday, 6th September, a public holiday across the province in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) and Defence Day.

According to a notification issued by the Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD), all government offices, educational institutions, and the majority of private organizations will remain closed on the day.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi, observed on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Muslims around the world commemorate the occasion through prayers, sermons, religious gatherings, and recitations highlighting his teachings of peace, compassion, and guidance.
