Reports suggest that Sophie Turner made a heartfelt plea to her husband, Joe Jonas, for “another chance” before the couple publicly announced their separation. However, the Jonas Brothers band member made the decision to end their four-year marriage without affording her additional time.
The former couple was reportedly facing challenges due to the demands of parenthood and their careers, especially after welcoming their second child in 2022.
According to In Touch Weekly, Turner had expressed her desire to return to work after giving birth, but tensions arose when Jonas embarked on the Jonas Brothers’ tour.
The insider revealed that Sophie felt resentful, believing that Joe assumed she would set aside her career while he toured, especially since they had previously discussed her plans to resume working after the birth of their second child. She allegedly felt betrayed when Joe expected her to join him on the tour. Despite this, she did join him for the Jonas Brothers’ kickoff concert in New York City on August 12.
