Miss universe Russia 2017 kseniya Alexandrova dies in car accident.

Kseniya Alexandrova, crowned Miss Universe Russia in 2017 and first runner-up at the Miss Russia pageant the same year, has tragically passed away following a car accident, her management agency Modus Vivendis confirmed.

The accident occurred in Russia’s Tver region when the vehicle she was traveling in struck a moose crossing the road. Alexandrova, who was a passenger, suffered severe injuries including a traumatic brain injury and was admitted to Moscow’s Sklifosovsky Research Institute, where she later succumbed to her wounds.

Her husband, who was driving the car, survived the crash. The couple had been married only four months earlier, on March 22.

In a statement, Modus Vivendis described Alexandrova as “brilliant, talented, and extraordinarily radiant,” adding that she would remain a symbol of “beauty, kindness, and inner strength.”

The Miss Universe Organization also paid tribute, remembering her for her “grace, beauty, and spirit,” and extended condolences to her family and loved ones.

Alexandrova began her modeling career at 19 before going on to represent Russia at the Miss Universe 2017 competition. Alongside her modeling achievements, she earned a Finance degree from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and later studied psychology at Moscow Pedagogical University, graduating in 2021. She had since been working as a psychologist.
