Pakistan enter the decider grappling with a “fifth bowler” dilemma. In the previous match, part-timers Saim Ayub and Salman Agha conceded 66 runs in seven wicketless overs, allowing the hosts to take control.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan admitted the challenge but backed his bowlers, noting both have delivered strong performances in the past. He also cited unpredictable weather and multiple rain delays as factors in the loss, saying the final XI would be decided after assessing today’s conditions.
