Low-level flood reported at Chashma Barrage; PDMA Punjab issues advisory.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has reported low-level flooding in the Indus River at Chashma Barrage.

According to the latest update, the water level at Tarbela Dam has reached 1,546.00 feet, standing at 96% of its capacity, while Mangla Dam is at 1,205.25 feet, or 63% full. Despite the situation at Chashma, water flow at Tarbela, Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri barrages remains normal.

Rivers Jhelum, Sutlej, Kabul, and Chenab, along with their tributaries, are maintaining normal flow. The Ravi River is also flowing normally, except for its tributary Basanter Nullah, which is experiencing a low-level flood.

PDMA confirmed there is no water flow in the major hill torrents of the Koh-e-Suleman and Dera Ghazi Khan division. Authorities have imposed Section 144 around all major rivers, canals, and streams across Punjab to ensure safety.
