The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the combined consumption group showed a year-on-year decrease of 1.23% during the week ending July 10, 2025, compared to the same week in 2024, according to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
However, on a week-on-week basis, the SPI registered a 0.95% increase, rising from 312.06 points last week to 315.03 points this week.

- Above Rs 44,175: ↑ 0.88%
The SPI covers 17 urban centres and monitors the prices of 51 essential items using 2015-16 as the base year.
