Pakistan and Egypt have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral collaboration, particularly in the health sector, during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Aamir Shouket, and Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
According to an official update shared by the Pakistan Embassy in Egypt on X (formerly Twitter), the meeting took place at the Ministry of Health and Population in Cairo, where both sides reviewed the longstanding and positive trajectory of Pakistan-Egypt relations.
The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in public health, medical training, pharmaceutical development, and institutional knowledge exchange. Both dignitaries emphasized the importance of expanding the current momentum of collaboration into broader and more impactful initiatives.
Ambassador Shouket and Minister Abdel Ghaffar expressed a strong mutual interest in promoting joint health initiatives that would yield long-term benefits for both countries. They underscored the shared vision of strengthening people-to-people ties and improving institutional connectivity between Pakistan and Egypt.
