In a gesture of appreciation and national pride, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hosted a special dinner in honor of Pakistan’s diplomatic delegation, lauding their efforts to effectively counter and expose Indian propaganda across global forums. The high-level engagement also included a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who led the delegation’s diplomatic efforts in the United States and Europe.
During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari briefed the Prime Minister on the outcomes and discussions held with key stakeholders in both the US and European capitals. The Prime Minister praised the delegation’s performance, describing it as a powerful and spirited representation of Pakistan’s stance on key international issues.

PM Shehbaz highlighted the role of Bilawal Bhutto in articulating Pakistan’s perspective with clarity and conviction during diplomatic engagements abroad. The Prime Minister noted that the delegation, under Bilawal’s leadership, not only advocated for Pakistan’s geopolitical concerns but also contextualized critical issues ranging from the events in Pahalgam to the violations of the Indus Waters Treaty.
The delegation expressed Pakistan’s case in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe with dignity and confidence, the Prime Minister added. Bilawal Bhutto eloquently voiced our concerns, and this resonated across multiple international forums.
India’s ‘Unjustified War Madness’ Exposed
Reaffirming Pakistan’s firm stance on regional stability and sovereignty, PM Shehbaz stated that India had to pay a heavy price for its unjustified war madness, and credited Pakistan’s military prowess and diplomatic resilience for making the world more aware of New Delhi’s aggressive actions.
He acknowledged the role of the international community in recognizing the legitimacy of Pakistan’s concerns, especially in the context of Kashmir and water disputes. The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s peace-first approach remains firm, but it will not be taken for granted on matters of national security and rights.
Recognition for Budget Collaboration
Shifting the tone toward economic policy, PM Shehbaz also expressed gratitude to the PPP and other coalition allies for their support in shaping the Federal Budget 2025–26. He described it as a collaborative effort designed to bring relief to all segments of society, including the salaried class, which has long demanded reforms and adjustments to meet inflationary pressures.
In this year’s budget, we have made a sincere effort to provide relief to all sections of society. I thank all coalition allies, including the PPP, for their contributions during this critical phase.
