Allama Iqbal International Airport has officially inaugurated a new direct flight route to Paris, marking a significant advancement in Pakistan’s global air connectivity.
The launch ceremony took place at the airport and was attended by key dignitaries, including the French Ambassador to Pakistan, the CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), as well as the COO and Airport Manager of Lahore, among other senior officials.
Highlights of the event included a cake-cutting ceremony and an address by the French Ambassador, who praised the new route as a valuable step in enhancing diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations between Pakistan and France.
Operated by PIA, the direct flight is set to promote tourism, facilitate trade, and provide a more convenient travel option for the Pakistani community residing in France.
