The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to 13 national cricketers, allowing them to participate in various international franchise leagues through the end of 2025.
Star Trio to Feature in BBL Draft
Senior players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who skipped Pakistan’s recent T20I series against Bangladesh, have all been cleared to enter the Big Bash League (BBL) draft on June 19. Their NOCs cover the period from December 14 to 28, allowing full participation in the BBL’s key stages.
Other Notable Approvals:
- Mohammad Amir, now retired from international cricket but playing for Essex in England’s T20 Blast, has been granted permission to stay on until July 18.
- Haris Rauf has been cleared to play in Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025, which kicks off this week in the U.S.
- Shan Masood, Pakistan’s Test captain, can continue representing Leicestershire in the County Championship until September 1.
County Cricketers Cleared:
- Mohammad Abbas – until July 2
- Hasan Ali – until September 30
- Khurram Shahzad – until September 27
Franchise League NOCs:
- Mohammad Nawaz has received NOCs for both the Guyana Super League and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
