A high-level diplomatic mission led by former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is in New York today to expose India’s hostile actions on the global stage.
According to sources, the Pakistani delegation will engage in key meetings with ambassadors from the five permanent and nine non-permanent members of the UN Security Council. U.S. officials are also set to receive detailed briefings on India’s aggressive behavior.
Joining Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are senior figures including Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Jalil Abbas Jilani, and Musadik Malik.
The delegation will present its case to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the General Assembly, and members of the Security Council. In addition, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be updated on India’s provocative actions.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also scheduled to speak at a conference hosted by the Middle East Institute, a prominent U.S. think tank, on June 5.
