Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid met Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House to discuss recent developments in the programme.

During the meeting, Khalid provided a detailed update on BISP’s progress. She shared that the government, through the Benazir Hunarmand Programme, aims to create more employment opportunities for the country’s youth.

She also highlighted the introduction of a new banking model designed to make cash transfers more transparent and user-friendly.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari praised BISP as a revolutionary initiative that continues to earn international recognition. He called the programme a lifeline for millions of families and emphasized the need to further strengthen and expand its reach.
