Ronnie Screwvala, renowned Bollywood entrepreneur and film producer, has emerged as Bollywood’s richest individual, surpassing the combined wealth of iconic stars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, whose collective fortune totals $1.5 billion.

This figure positions him ahead of the three Bollywood superstars, with Shah Rukh Khan valued at $770 million, Salman Khan at $390 million, and Aamir Khan at $220 million.

Under his leadership, UTV produced a series of iconic films, including Rang De Basanti, Jodhaa Akbar, Swades, Delhi Belly, Barfi, and Fashion. The company also made significant contributions to television, producing popular shows such as Hip Hip Hurray, Shararat, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Khichdi, and Shanti.

In 2012, Ronnie sold his stake in UTV to Walt Disney for over $450 million, eventually taking on the role of Managing Director of the India unit.

In a recent interview, Screwvala reflected on his life and career, revealing that studying theatre played a crucial role in shaping his success. He shared, “Some people take sports.
