PSL 10 anthem fails to impress fans despite star-studded line-up.

The official anthem for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been released but has fallen short of fan expectations.

Featuring big names like Abrar-ul-Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum, the anthem generated significant anticipation. However, its release met with a lukewarm response. Within the first 12 hours, the song reached 1 million views on Facebook and just 300,000 on YouTube, with reactions across social media remaining mixed.

Critics have voiced concerns about the repeated dominance of Punjabi lyrics in PSL anthems, arguing that it sidelines other ethnic groups. Many believe the league should reflect its diverse representation, including teams from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh — not just Punjab.

Nostalgic fans also recalled earlier anthems by Ali Zafar, especially Phir Seeti Bajaygi, saying newer songs have yet to capture the same energy and national spirit.

PSL 10 is set to begin on April 11, with matches scheduled in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
