Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 9 to June 13, 2025. The event will be accessible online, featuring updates to the software powering iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices.
While most of the conference will be virtual, a select group of developers and students will be invited to attend the opening day in person at Apple Park.
The announcement comes as competitors like Samsung and Xiaomi continue to enhance their devices with AI-powered features, aiming to capture a larger market share. Last year, Apple introduced several AI-enabled tools at WWDC, including features that streamline email management by rewriting messages and summarizing inboxes.
However, some anticipated AI enhancements for Siri have been delayed until 2026, despite previous expectations for a 2025 launch. Apple did not provide further details on the delay.
Developers and attendees can expect additional information about WWDC 2025 through the Apple Developer app and the official conference website.
