Former Bangladesh captain tamim iqbal undergoes emergency angioplasty after heart attack.

Tamim Iqbal, former captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, underwent an emergency angioplasty after suffering a heart attack during a cricket match in Dhaka on Monday.

The incident occurred while Tamim was fielding for Mohammedan Sporting Club against Shinepukur Cricket Club at the BKSP-3 ground in Savar, near the capital. He experienced severe chest pain and immediately left the field to seek medical attention.

Doctors at a nearby hospital confirmed a heart blockage following an angiogram. An angioplasty procedure was successfully performed to remove the blockage, and Tamim is currently under observation.

The cricket community has expressed concern and extended their well wishes for Tamim’s swift recovery.
