Pakistan cricket team departs for New Zealand T20 series.

The Pakistan national cricket team has left for New Zealand to play a five-match T20 series, beginning on March 16 in Christchurch.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the 16-member squad departed from Lahore via Dubai en route to New Zealand.

Notably, Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz have earned their maiden call-ups to the national squad.

Vice-captain Shadab Khan expressed confidence in the young squad, stating:
“Many young players have been included, and they bring a different, positive energy. We have high expectations from the newcomers, and we aim for success.”

Pakistan will be looking to bounce back and prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 with this series.
