Pakistan’s star batter and former captain Babar Azam has performed Umrah during the holy month of Ramazan.
A viral video circulating on social media shows Babar attending Iftar at Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The footage, shared on Safeer Azam’s Instagram account, captures Babar sitting near the Kaaba, enjoying a date. The post was simply captioned “Alhamdulillah.”
In another post, Safeer Azam shared multiple photos with Babar, using the hashtag “Umrah 2025.”
Babar’s spiritual journey comes at a challenging time in his career. He has been under scrutiny following a disappointing performance in the Champions Trophy 2025 and was subsequently dropped from Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand.
