US secretary of state marco rubio to visit Saudi Arabia and Canada for diplomatic talks.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Saudi Arabia from March 10-12 for discussions with Ukrainian officials and a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to a statement from US Department of State spokesperson Tammy Bruce.

Following his visit to Saudi Arabia, Rubio will travel to Canada to attend the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting from March 12-14.

Rubio recently spoke with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, stating that President Donald Trump aims to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war as soon as possible. However, Trump has paused military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine following a dispute with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on February 28.

Zelenskiy has also announced plans to visit Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, while Ukrainian diplomatic and military officials are set to meet with the US delegation on Tuesday.
