Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Adviser on Information, Barrister Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif, has alleged that former PTI leader Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, are being denied food for Sehri and Iftar during Ramadan.
In a recent statement, Barrister Saif claimed that the restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan during Ramadan are a deliberate attempt to cause mental and physical distress. He further asserted that both Khan and Bushra Bibi are being forced to observe fasts without the customary Sehri meal.
Additionally, Saif stated that the couple is being prevented from carrying out religious rituals, a situation that has sparked widespread concern among the public. He accused the government of being excessively fearful of a single prisoner.
The adviser also emphasized that the ban on meetings with Imran Khan violates court orders and called for contempt of court action against those responsible.
