Preparations have been completed to establish an Anti-Corruption Force in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with new recruitments planned while deputed staff will be sent back to their original departments.
According to sources, the force will have three key cadres: investigation, prosecution, and administration. It will be led by a Director Anti-Corruption, while the Director General of Prosecution will be appointed on a contract basis.
The Advocate General and Prosecutor General will oversee cases, with the Prosecution cadre required to complete inquiries within six months and submit reports to the Prosecution Director. Officials found guilty of fabricating cases will face imprisonment of three to seven years.
Additionally, all members of the Anti-Corruption Force will undergo a four-month training program in Islamabad.
