The Peshawar High Court has approved the protective bail request of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, extending it until March 5.
A bench comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Salahuddin heard the plea. While the petitioner’s lawyer and the Advocate General were present, the Chief Minister himself was absent.
The court emphasized that the petitioner’s presence is legally required. “The hearing will be adjourned, but the petitioner must appear in person for the protective bail request,” the court stated.
Following this, the court granted protective bail to Ali Amin Gandapur until March 5 and adjourned the proceedings.
