PCB announces tri-nation ODI series schedule featuring New Zealand and South Africa.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the schedule for the much-anticipated tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The tournament will run from February 8 to 14, 2025, with matches played at two iconic venues: Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.

Preparation for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The tri-nation series provides an excellent opportunity for all three teams to fine-tune their squads ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host.

Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore:

  • Increased spectator capacity with newly installed chairs.
  • 480 state-of-the-art LED lights to enhance broadcast LUX levels.
  • Two giant digital replay screens (80×30 feet and 22×35 feet).
  • A new hospitality enclosure for players and officials nearing completion.

National Bank Stadium, Karachi:

  • New hospitality enclosure for players and officials at the University End.
  • 350 LED lights for improved global broadcast coverage.
  • Two digital replay screens installed.
  • 5,000 new chairs added to enhance spectator comfort.

Training Sessions

  • Pakistan and New Zealand will train under lights at Gaddafi Stadium on February 6.
  • South Africa will have their first practice session at the venue on the morning of February 9.
