Senator Irfan Siddiqui supports PTI members’ request for meeting with party founder.

PML-N leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui expressed support for PTI members’ request to meet their party founder, calling it a valid demand. Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Siddiqui shared that discussions between the negotiation committees had been conducted in a cordial atmosphere. He noted that PTI was expected to present its demands in writing during the session.

Siddiqui further revealed that PTI members had asked for a meeting with their founder, a request that the PML-N had agreed to facilitate. He hoped that PTI would bring written demands to the next session of talks.

Regarding the continuation of negotiations, Siddiqui emphasized that the decision to extend talks by a week was made at the request of PTI, not the government. He clarified that no demands had been made by the PML-N during the talks, and issues such as elections or the 26th Amendment were not discussed.

On the topic of legal cases, Senator Siddiqui explained that they were filed based on the nature of crimes committed. Referring to the incidents on November 26, he stated that cases were registered accordingly but noted that no guarantees could be given regarding future filings.
