Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday called on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to prioritize decision-making through consensus.
Speaking to the media, Bilawal highlighted the significance of a historic public gathering held in Larkana to commemorate the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
“The PPP has always strived to address the challenges faced by the people,” he stated, urging all stakeholders to actively contribute to resolving national issues.
Bilawal stressed the need for the federal government to engage in dialogue to address the grievances of all provinces. He cautioned that constructing new canals without consensus would be a contentious move, adding that the lack of consultation had previously made the Kalabagh Dam project controversial.
He reiterated that the PPP, as a federal party, remains committed to resolving the issues of the masses.
The former foreign minister also emphasized the importance of providing high-speed internet to foster economic growth. “Restrictions on internet access will hinder foreign investment in the country,” he warned.
