Ranger personnel succumbs to injuries sustained in PTI protest violence.


Another Rangers personnel, Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer, was martyred after succumbing to injuries sustained during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in Islamabad on November 26.

Lance Naik Muhammad Tanveer, a 37-year-old resident of Narowal district, had been undergoing treatment at CMH following severe injuries during the violent clashes. He had served the nation for 17 years and leaves behind his wife, two sons, and three daughters.

With his martyrdom, the number of Rangers personnel martyred due to the protest violence has risen to four, while several others remain injured. Additionally, two Punjab Police officials lost their lives, and around 119 personnel were injured.

An FIR (Case No. 933) under the Anti-Terrorism Act has already been registered to address the violent incidents.
