The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) approved an increase in gas prices for the current fiscal year on Tuesday.
As per the OGRA statement, the hike includes an 8.71% increase for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and a 25.78% increase for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). The new average gas prices are set at:
- Sui Northern: Rs 1,778.35 per MMBTU
- Sui Southern: Rs 1,762.51 per MMBTU
