Nawaz Sharif and Sindh Governor Discuss Political Landscape and Economic Challenges”
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori engaged in a conversation regarding Pakistan’s political scenario during a meeting in London on Friday. The leaders acknowledged the economic difficulties confronting the nation and explored topics of mutual interest, including upcoming general elections.
Earlier in the day, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Nawaz Sharif’s anticipated return to Pakistan in October. In an exclusive interview with Samaa TV, Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that the specific return date would soon be announced.
In a separate development, PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz emphasized Nawaz Sharif’s pivotal role as the “sole ray of hope” for the country. Maryam Nawaz also disclosed the completion of the organizational committee formation phase in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and her interviews with district youth coordinators. She asserted KP’s right to progress and criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for alleged mismanagement of KP’s resources over the past decade, particularly during crises like flash floods.
Maryam Nawaz, while lauding PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, highlighted his achievements, stating, “Nawaz Sharif successfully put an end to power outages and terrorism in the country.”
She went on to address the challenges facing the nation, suggesting that the responsibility for these issues was widely acknowledged. However, she expressed optimism about Nawaz Sharif’s impending return, asserting that it would usher in a period of rapid economic growth. She mentioned the revival of projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the goal of alleviating unemployment in the country.
