The blackout began at around 6 PM and left millions of users unable to access these services due to a “technical issue,” according to the social media giant.

Meta’s Response
At 10:26 PM, Meta posted on X (formerly Twitter), assuring users that services were almost fully restored. The statement read:
“Thanks for bearing with us! We’re 99% of the way there – just doing some last checks. We apologize to those who’ve been affected by the outage.”
