International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, Jay Shah, has traveled to Australia, leaving unresolved matters regarding the upcoming Champions Trophy. According to Indian media, Shah arrived in Brisbane along with Devajit Saikia, the interim secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
During his visit, Shah is expected to attend an Olympic-related meeting and watch the third Test match between Australia and India.
His decision to prioritize this trip while the Champions Trophy issues remain unsettled has sparked questions and speculation. Notably, Cricket Australia is perceived as an ally of the BCCI within the ICC, adding further intrigue to Shah’s visit.
